XenDirect costs are based on four primary factors: (1) Version (2) Number of licensed named users (3) Annual versus Long Term licensing (4) Added options (i.e. training, ODBC, customization). A Basic package starts at $3,995 annually.
Discuss each of these factors with your account representative, and they will prepare a quote based on your exact needs and budget.
Yes, XenDirect can provide you with separate Branches. Users login to their branch and will only see their course and student information. All branch data is stored in one database, yet some cross branch reporting can be achieved.
This can vary by organization, staff size to be trained, and data being converted. Xenegrade can have your registration system up and running in as little time as one week.
Xenegrade licenses use of XenDirect in one of two methods: Annual Subscription and Long term Licensing.
The Annual Subscription (12 month term) method has an annual base cost that includes 5 named users who can access XenDirect. Additional user packages can be purchased to increase the number of users who can access the application.
The Long Term Licensing method has a larger upfront cost that includes 50 named users who can access XenDirect with an annual maintenance fee. Additional user packages can be purchased to increase the number of users who can access the application.
XenDirect stands out among other registration systems both on a design level and on a support level. Xenegrade even includes features non-existent in other systems.
There are 4 versions of XenDirect: Basic, Plus, Enterprise, and Conference. As you move from up in version from Basic to Plus to Enterprise, additional features are available that enhance the power and flexibility of XenDirect. Conference features are available in Enterprise version or as a stand alone version.
For more information about the features included in each version see our Compare Versions page.
Yes, Xenegrade Corp. is the Sole Source of XenDirect - Student Registration Software. We can provide you with a Sole Source letter for your records.
XenDirect is installed on Xenegrade's servers in a Tier 1 data center. All hardware, firewalls, backups, updates, and security are maintained by Xenegrade.
XenDirect has a online Help integrated into the system. The integration is context sensitive and is available to all users.
Beyond the integrated Help, there is an Online Ticket system used as the first level of support. The Online Support system boasts 1 hour or less response time during regular business hours for most issues. The Online Support system also contains an emergency component available and monitored 24/7.
Additionally, phone support is available but is used as a secondary level support tool based on the discretion of the Xenegrade Support staff.
Yes. Xenegrade programming staff can clean and convert data from just about any other system. Your account representative will discuss with you the pros and cons of converting prior data. You may decide to import all, some, or no prior data.
There is no one set fee to convert data. Variations in data from other systems make each conversion unique. The data conversion process is performed by Xenegrade for a nominal one-time charge based on the amount and condition of the data.
All documentation for XenDirect is available through the online Support Center and is available to all users.
Yes, XenDirect currently is integrated with SCT Banner®, Pearson Ecollege® and Blackboard® at various levels of integration. It is important to note that the type of integration desired is the most crucial question for this topic area. Discuss with your account representative if your integration needs are one way, two way, scheduled, live, or real time.
We have the ability to integrate with any other software system that will allow 3rd party connections or data interchange.
Currently XenDirect integrates with the following payment gateways:
Xenegrade staff manages all aspects of the XenDirect Student Registration Application including installation, updates, and maintenance.
Many customers find that the existing ad hoc reports built into XenDirect are sufficient for almost all their needs. However, custom reports can be added to XenDirect via one of two different methods:
The first method entails Xenegrade staff building a report based on your design and creates a menu option for that report with the search and options requested. There is a nominal onetime charge for per report. Future modifications to the custom report are charged per hour of modification time.
The second method utilizes an ODBC access to your database. Someone on your staff with the skills to use Crystal Reports builds a report and uses the User Defined Report feature of XenDirect to upload it into XenDirect. The only Xenegrade cost associated with this method is the annual license for ODBC access to your data. There is no cost to upload and run user defined reports. Note that using ODBC access and a third party application such as Crystal Reports does not require the report to be uploaded. It can be run locally by the report designer. The only purpose to uploading the report would be to provide other users access to the report.
The number of users you desire to access your XenDirect system is up to you. There is no limit on the number of named users who can access your XenDirect. Your organization can license as many named users as needed.
A standard base annual package includes 5 named user licenses. From there, named user licenses come in packages such as 5, 10, 25, and so on. Price per named user decreases as the number of named users in a package increases.
Your data is secured in a Tier 1 Data Center that requires biometric and key card for physical entry. Only authorized personnel are allowed access. We employ a Backup/Disaster/Recovery Server that is continuously backing up all servers. Every 15 minutes those images are encrypted and sent to an alternate data center over an SSL connection.
For more information about all security features in XenDirect, see the Security and Reliability page.
